Neg'd. Not because I disagree with the rating (in fact, my opinion of this album is not very high either). But because you just fail to make any solid arguments.

I don't really listen to much Slayer any more but this remains an excellent record (although I prefer South of Heaven). Yes it's violent, filthy and evil and that is the point!



Good call on Norma Jean, a great band who consistently make superb albums, very different from Slayer though.

Not sure if this is a troll review or simply someone taking this album too seriously (Slayer fans gonna hate), but one sentence that stuck out to me:

Yeah, but there were probably just as many albums that didn't focus on those particular themes.
