I get what you are saying, the snare is a bit haggard sounding at times. But still the songs are so damn good it's such a minor qualm. The biggest problem is this is their only release! Wish they would have kept doing this instead of Rinoa

Yeah, the real problem is this is the only thing they done. I never got into Rinoa either so it hurts even more. How many members from this band went onto Rinoa? Was it the whole band or only a couple members?

I'm pretty sure most of them. Seems like they just ditched this sound and changed their name sadly, and damn did they have something going for them with this

No kidding. I would loved to see them at least do a full-length.

Yeah man, the ep is nearly flawless, full length could've been a classic

Know why they broke it off so quick after just the one EP?

I went looking for info on their lineup, only found one member in common with Rinoa.

Already fully listened to this 6 times, not clicking at all. That Mononoke-Picture is a beautiful one

and that's about it, Vertigo is just decent and the title track is a yawn imo. Should i give it more

days time or try again later?

EDIT: the emo clean vocals only work for me on Mononoke-Picture, and even there i find them kinda

cringe worthy, if not for that sweet innocent butt raped emo boy tone they would suck. My two cents,

sorry for the harshness lol

The vocals aren't emo sounding at all, they're not whiney either. Bummer that you didn't like this much, I love it

Idk wack, i don't feel em. Sound kinda untrained to me. The tone works especially on Mononoke-Picture i guess.

Also Atonement ends the thing really well.

haha yeah mortimus i mean imagine the voice of a little emo boy that was raped and still didn't grasp the reality of what happened to him. God i'm just being a douche, i meant no disrespect whatsoever to the guy, just found it to be a good description to the "sad innocence" his tone seems to transmit. And I do like the guy's sweet tone, just don't feel it makes a huge difference on the songs.

Sorry if i worded this stupidly. I'll try a couple of times more in another day i guess.
