If they released instrumental versions of their albums, too, that would be awesome.

The vocals are a lil better here, but I doubt it would change anyones mind who didn't like them before.

Yeah, I think the whiny sounding vocals was what kept me from really giving this one a listen.

I mean, I wouldn't call him whiny... his vocals are just kind of an acquired taste.

You might be one of the few, then...

The instrumentation is what kept me around the first time I heard it. Sometimes, he does this thing with his voice when he gets up in his higher register that really bothers me.

Do you like it less or more than Leviathan? There's certain things that they did on Leviathan that I like more, but, then again, they do some new stuff here that I really like, too.

Yeah I like it less than Leviathan but that album resonated with me so much personally that this album has a lot A LOT to live upto. I'm not gonna lie I've had a tough time with their self titled. I let myself get way too hyped for this and when it came out and wasn't omgperfect I got disapointed and kinda took a break from it. I've been spinning it over the last week or so and it has since grown on me more now that my (ridiculous fanboy) expectations aren't getting in the way of enjoying the actual music

It's not that I think it's bad, just different from what I expected. It's in between a 3.5 and 4 for me right now

This is definitely more consistent but I still find that LAL is more enjoyable, the high points are just so much higher

it took me a little while to get into this, but the past few days I've been enjoying them. I love The

Pharmacist, Lily Trotter, Black Fish, and Chronos, The Destroyer. pretty solid music. the last few

minutes of The Pharmacist are friggin amazing

oh someone said they hate that thing joey does when he goes higher in his register, I agree since it

makes Input. Time. Direct pretty hard to listen to when he's whining "A LITTLE BOY IS TURNING BLUE"

Giving this another go, as it's been on the list for a while. Singer really does need to let the music breathe a bit more, but there's some really cool stuff going on underneath, and I don't dislike his voice. Needs way more listens, as this really isn't my normal type of thing.
