I mistakenly bought a mono version of this record and I ain't even mad. Shit somehow still sounds really fucking good.
But in all seriousness, should i hunt down a stereo version?

If it is an original mono version then you are lucky! I got a 2nd edition of the album for 75 cents, NM+ condition.

The Beatles in mono is the way to go. I own this record in mono and it's easily one of my best sounding records

Sweet. So tell me, why mono over stereo? Shouldn't stereo be better cuz of the whole "surround sound" thing it was supposed to emulate?

Stereo can definitely be better in some cases I'm sure, but the Beatles albums were all originally recorded in mono, so you're hearing the album the way it was initially intended to be heard by the band. Kind of hard to explain really, but there are some pretty interesting articles about Mono v. Stereo if u search around the web
