Jason's vocals are way more powerful. Conrad sings some of their best songs but he has a hard time hitting high notes live although he seems to have gotten better recently.

Nah, I wasn't overly fussed on Lost Songs, but to be fair, I got into the band during their arty bombastic phase. "Wasted State of Mind" was the song that prompted me to delve into their music. I guess I just prefer them when they're at their most melodic and experimenting with the arrangements.
IX seems more up my alley, but I'm waiting for the physical copy before listening to it.
