lmao it's whatever. I liked it well enough. It sounds like you just don't like deathcore tho.

I mean pretty much only people that dislike the genre inherently say things like "it sounds like every other deathcore band"

Love when people that don't listen to deathcore say something sounds like every other deathcore band

Never was terribly into this band but I used to hang out with them at local shows years ago. Good guys, especially their bassist Gary.

I don't like Deathcore in most cases, however I do like some bands.

All Shall Perish, Hester Prynne and a few others.

Well true I might be being a bit ignorant when I say that, but to me it sounds like I have heard the same breakdown a thousand times before.

There's some pretty sweet riffage on this, along with his vocal range, and the creative and slow breakdowns help separate

them from stereotypical deathcore bands.

I used to care about hearing a breakdown sound vaguely "unique" but I kinda stopped caring after I knew a dozen or two bands. I mean it comprises the same notes with maybe a lead over it, there is a very small bag of tricks you can use to make it sound different. They've all been used already, so just appreciate them for the groovy, mosh inducers they are.

I am not doubting the vocal range at all, he is a great vocalist.

I'll have to jam this again and see if my opinion changes.

I'd probably take Ovdi off to put them with some different acts and put Aversion Crown on that list tbh
