I'd say this is tied for third best with SFSGSW.

RIP and Peace Sells are best always

To me Peace Sells still remains their best even though it's far from perfect. This album suffers from the same problems as all of Megadeth's music but doesn't have much of what made some of their other stuff enjoyable. Metallica's and especially Slayer's debut are way better.

Excellent review (even though I'm two years late), but what I came here to say is that I don't know how anyone can say Mechanix is better than Four Horseman, and this is coming from someone who thinks Megadeth is leagues above Metallica. The lyrics in Mechanix are juvenile and stupid, while Four Horseman has a much more powerful and epic feel. Anyhow...

1) Killing is My Business...

2) Fistful of Metal

3) Show No Mercy

4) Kill 'Em All

This is my third favorite Megadeth album.

I like the lyrics in Mechanic, they're pretty funny IMO. I would like them better if Dave hadn't repeated the same verse twice.

But agreed Mechanic < Four Horsemen

Yeah, it's their first album, so it's okay I guess, but every other song on that album is awesome. Even the cover of These Boots is better (unless it's censored).
