His earlier stuff filled the "Eminem went soft" gap in the world, he hasn't been on point in a long time though. The review makes this sound exactly like what I was expecting and a firm 2/2.5 at best.

Old Friend IS Ill Mind 6. And no one's 'hating', it's not hating if you don't like someone. Even as a fan of Hopsin he can be corny as fuck sometimes. Guess I'm just a hater though.

I have the same problem with this as I did with Raw, I wanted to take it seriously, and I feel like he was trying to make the listener take his music seriously at some points, but the production is so fucking awful that I couldn't listen to his album more than once. On top of that, "Swizzz" or whatever is fucking abysmal.
Hopsin has kept his fans waiting for an album that brings absolutely nothing new to the table. I think he could be great if he would step out of the corny ass shell he's in production wise.
