I think this album is their worst effort. Every Impending Doom album has less riffs and more chugs, how is that a good thing? Nailed Dead Risen was their most death metal influenced album and therefore it was their best album and after it they slowly started transforming into a chug chug band.

the Serpent Servant is my second favorite, then comes Baptized In Filth, then There Will Be Violence and my last favorite is Death Will Reign

Death Will Reign is by far these dudes' most mature sounding album. The song-writing is miles better than anything else they put out and if you can't hear that than that sucks for you.
You may enjoy Nailed. Dead. Risen more, but this album is better in regards to musicianship in general.
