Headlights impressed me but to be fair when I saw nate ruess next to it I instantly discredited it

"To be honest this could have been a 5/5 if it was titled differently."

that is just ludicrous

Definitely one of the best reviews I've seen from you, man. Very nice work.

Just a couple wordy bits you'll want to look over, but that's the extent of it:

The success here of being an album worth mention is derived from its encompassment of the past and present Marshall Mathers

there lies a lot of contrasting substance to recommend to Eminem’s now vastly diverse audience

Good review, we basically agree that this album is all over the place, but I'd personally ditch Legacy, Rap God and Stronger Than I Was. Don't mind the other pop Eminem songs, I really dug Recovery after all. Most of these songs are great it just bugs me how bad he is at putting it all together. It was actually getting to me so much while listening I felt the need to make a playlist with my own track order and none of those three songs I don't like. I mean we can at least all agree that Stronger Than I Was doesn't fit on here, what the fuck Em

This is a pleasant surprise. Nothing special. Enjoyable Eminem though.

honestly Bad Guy, Legacy, Evil Twin, Rap God, Brainless and Headlights are all solid

I agree this isn't 5/5 but if it was called somehting else it would feel a little better (like an extra .5), no reason to shit on a classic.

If this had a different name then the throwbacks to the first MMLP probably wouldn't have been made meaning it would suck even more

It's called TMMLP2 because he's going back just raw Eminem rap. Hence the poor instrumentalisation on this LP. I really like Desperation too!

Very well-written review, as always. Haven't listened to Eminem in a while, and I doubt I'll get anything out of listening to this, so I'm not even going to bother with this album.

So Far, Berzerk, Survival, etc are actually highlights for me. So Far is epic, both for the sample and the return of Em's great storytelling.

That's because sputnik is the most biased, elitist community out there. The reason i don't comment much, just review.
