Big step up from Scurrilous. I tried to like Scurrilous so I could have that beautiful album art but I couldn't find anything on it for me. "Mist" is so awesome.

How can any band decide that lyrics like this are acceptable? Track 9, which I won't even justify looking up the name of...is utter shit. Album is better than scurrilious, but I'd say subjectively scurrilious is the worst album ever made.
Band definitely lacks maturity. They were more poignant and eloquent on a calculated use of sound. Band needs to also lay off the studio tricks. They sound like a more technical version of every band in my town bludgeoning me to death instead of captivating me
