I don't listen to much metal any more let alone Finnish melodic death/doom so this was pretty nice to me but yeah I can see how it could be pretty boring if you're in the genre constantly. It gets pretty saturated fast.

Very solid melodic death metal album, though for me some of the songs are a little too similar to each other. Nonetheless, there are some great moments to be found here, more so in the longer songs than others. Highlights then for me would be "Routa Pt 2" and "Chasm", though I did like the more extreme sounds in "Ghosts of Karelia" too.
