Ulver sure has been busy these last few years. Every time I turn around they have something new out.

Could say that about Hammock, they've already got a new album coming out soon

They have released quite a lot of stuff recently but last years Childhood's End wasn't really a proper studio album, plus they've released a couple of live albums in the last few years so it's kind of deceptive seeing as they've actually only released 2 studio albums since Shadows of the Sun.

I just listened to it and I can feel a 4 review building in my brain.

If it's a 4 after your first listen I wouldn't be surprised if it grew to a 4.5. This was more like a 4 for me upon first listen. It's definitely a grower.

I say 4, because a you already did a fantastic 4.5 and I can already think of some decent criticisms for it. For instance, the album is very heavily cinematic and "Son of Man", which I enjoyed the most, could potentially be too melodramatic for some folks.

Ah fair enough and thanks.
