Best album since Travels and probably their best album so far. The album flows really, really well and there is not a bad moment on it. Had Bisexuality been on here it would be flawless, but getting the best album of their career is a fair trade.

I dunno, while the lyrics of Bisexuality are interesting the song structure was really simplistic. I really liked the risks they took on this album in terms of loud-quiet dynamics and weird time-signature changes, and Bisexuality doesn't really fit with that.

Travels is still my favorite because the basslines were so superb, the guitar was biting, and the rage and frustration came at a perfect time, right after the economic collapse in '08. I feel like this album is early for the next collapse, but it hits on a similar combination of opportunistic elements.

^Agree, Just feel that bisexuality was good enough for a formal release as part of an LP, but cant really argue with your points and Travels and this are definitely equally brillant, but How just might in time prove to have the edge over Travels since I think How has a slightly more Shellac, Jesus Lizard and Fugazi kind of influence. So underappreciated this awesome band is.

Indeed. I hope that whenever they decide to do a 5th LP they make some sort of financial slam-dunk. They deserve to wallow in cash like Scrooge McDuck.

Haha couldnt agree more. The path of lacking widespread appeal Andy has been on from Mclusky to this has been almost astoundingly shocking to see.

this is melodically much more interesting than curses even if it doesn't hit as hard
