Years ago a friend of mine told me to check out a song from their debut record, Find The Real, and my reaction was "Dafuq, it's those tards from Creed with a different singer. Why would I bother?". Thank fuck I bothered in the end.
You could say they're Creed with a different singer and get the people involved right, but nothing else.
