the religious ramblings were pretty much there at a perfect time in my life. I wasn't quite an atheist then, like I am now so yeah.
also, the jump from this to 2nd edition/metal box was crazy. I couldn't stand metal box at first.

on first listen i preferred flowers of romance but i've not played any of them since probably january so

flowers of romance is even more abstract and weird than metal box, but it never stuck with me like
these two did. they're the only ones I come back to, which is fairly often though not as often as it
was last year.
poptones is one of those songs I could listen to for hours and hours. funnily enough, I like it just
about the same with or without vocals, I expected to like an instrumental more version but guess not.
live versions of that songs are pretty awesome as well.

Oh man, I feel disgusting that Sex Pistols were one of the first bands I got into and I've NEVER bothered with these guys.
Should probably get all their stuff since this album rules. It's Gang of Four before Gang of Four even existed!
