i'm happy you got right to how late grunge/90s this album is. this album might be a good addition to that catalog, but i think people are more interested in progressing or revisiting the 60's-80's

Yeah I just got this album a few weeks ago and it rocks. Like, Nirvana rocks. Love the grunginess to it. 3 guitars apparently, too. Sometimes that can be a bad thing but in this case I'm all for it.

No offense but that's probably the stupidest thing i've ever heard just saying

care to elaborate why? gotta say it's pretty stupid to say "no offense," call someone's post the stupidest thing you've ever heard, and then not explain in the slightest as to why you think it's stupid.

yo hopelust if you liked this for the grunge check out Daylight's "Jar." they're from the same town as Balance and it's grungy as fuck.

Well i loved it for the grunge, as I said in my earlier post, but I'm quite fond of how they mix the melody with it. Regardless, I will check out this album you speak of.

oh daylight's got mad melody too it's rad. balance kinda hides the grunge and mixes it up with some other elements but jar is just straight up '90s throwback it's phenomenal

@hopelust, I'm mostly just playing around but stating what "most people" are interested in is not only a complete speculation probably formed through his own opinions, but also totally irrelevant to the music itself. Basing your opinion of an album off of what you would've preferred the band do different stylistically isn't logical to me. Based on this bands previous material I personally think this was the perfect direction for them to go in.

That comes across as much more intelligent, KSK. Next time you should just say that instead of posting what you did previously. Cuz now, you actually have a point.

How good is separation? I haven't listened to it.

When I listened to this album for the first time, I didn't like it even though I somehow still appreciated them for...trying? Then I came back after a few months and it pulled me in.
