Also, if you're having trouble with shows locally... try looking online for towns/cities that have a good reception for screamo shows, and try to get shows booked out of town in those places.

most people around us aren't feeling the chaotic screamo right now. we're pretty deeply involved in central illinois shit though. between bloomington/normal, champaign/urbana, peoria, and springfield we have plenty of shows to play. also, that'd be rad about dubuque! we played quad cities, iowa city, and des moines when we played with sea of trees and big sky. we got them iowa ties.
