i wish they had more parts like the end of notice me but oh well. i saw these guys live after separation and was really bored but i though this album was a step up although they're still kind of generic sounding.

I think they've always been relatively derivative, but I feel that's the case for almost all music that isn't just completely out there. It's a matter of perspective and degrees, and B&C have always had a great mix of elements from a few different styles I enjoy.

Might give it a listen.

This is awesome, but I'd say Separation is way better for now.

Agreed, bloc. It's a bare thing for me, but I still like Separation a tad more.

A nice review, apart from a few gripes.
"While Melodies seem to be an obvious omission on first listen"
Uncapitalise the first letter of "Melodies"
"Balance and Composure rarely seem to misstep. When they do it though ... many songs are not without
fault, as an occasionally song is sparsely mired with such hiccups"
Firstly, you seem to contradict yourself to some degree here, though that depends on what exactly
"rarely" and "many songs" mean in this case. Also, "as an occasionally song" needs to remove "an",
or else change it otherwise.
Also, I'm not really a fan of using lyrics as a summary, unless they're somehow central to the point
you're making about the album. If not, they simply do nothing to summarize your review.
Still, all these points are minor and largely a matter of taste. A good review, pos'd. Will check
out this thing tomorrow.
