Great review, manosg.

This is a great album but to be honest I'd rather listen to Yes. I guess I agree with Jethro to an extent, the band (along with quite a lot of other more obscure prog acts) lacks something that the bigger prog bands had.

Album definitely needed a review though, pos'd hard.

Thanks for your comments dudes. I honestly prefer this one over any Yes album that isn't between 1972-1974 but again I can see where you're coming from.

Awesome album. I don't care if they sound like yes, as far as the songwriting is solid and balanced, I'm ok with that.

The 70's prog juice seems endless.

Your review is very good man, here have another pos.

manos my friend first of all have a pos for your relentless dedication to the 70s prog and for a sweet review.

However, I have a different opinion regarding this album. It was one of the rare progs that i did not like much. The fact that they sound similar to YES would not bother me if they had been excellent in other areas. But because they don't, this added more negativity to my view. At least --if I understood correctly from your review-- we agree on the best track here, "Shangri-La".

Always a pleasure man! Yeah, "Shangri-La" is probably my favorite track of the album. However, I love the mellow atmosphere on this one and it has quite a few emotional parts that get me every time.

Yes there are some bits & pieces that are actually good, but it happens rarely

Thanks mena, it's a great album.

Antonius, I respect your opinion but this is nowhere near a 2.5 for me. Have you listened to Starcastle's debut?

Great man. Starcastle's debut is one of my favorite symphonic prog albums and has a spacey vibe. Hope you'll like it man!

Of all the Yes clones...that album cover is pretty shameless too.

It could've been interesting, but if you want some good clones, Starcastle and specially Yezda Urfa are better

Starcastle's Lady of the Lake is an awesome song (not as good as Rainbow's Lady of the Lake tho hehe)

Druid is actually not bad for a Yes rip off. Glad I stuck through it cause the last two songs are actually quite good.
