My fork in the road is the most 2000s metalcore song ever. Still jams

Great track, and that opening riff in particular slaps. Reminds me of A Constant Reminder by It Dies Today

I remember listening to Your Private War and thinking that spit at the end of the track was so badass back in the day

I stumbled upon this in one of my old CD cases.
I'm not sure if it is the production or songwritig of the band, but I can't even mention suicide notes in any conversation that involves any of the other releases these guys have had.
I also can't even begin to strike up conversation in regards to any of their releases following this album.
Having said that, I think that this specific point in their career was the end of the band's ability to strive toward sounding unique or alternative (in their respective genre(s)) and the peak of their songwriting with the formulas they rarely strayed from.
This is probably the best and most under-looked piece of work they ever produced, but it was plagued with the sign of things to come. I got a lot of shit for blasting this album back when it came out, but if you didn't know any better about who the band is/was today, I guarantee you would naturally nod your head along to most of these tracks.
LMAOOOOO this must have been EARLY in my Sputnik life. Holy shit.

lol I remember writing lots of paragraphs in comment threads early on. I joined about a month before that one. I remember my first activity here was just arguing relentlessly with some people about what an EP is lol. I'll never tell anyone what thread it is.

The verse in that one is fucking hype.
We Stand Up is still my favorite on this. Fucking love that bridge section.
