Shadows' vocals ruin this. He is better screaming with authentic clean vocals rather than something in
the middle with a cheesy tone. Of course those days are long gone and have been for a decade.
I do think the music besides the vocals is enjoyable. It is basic heavy metal and not anything more.

I tried listening to the Itunes stream but gave up on the first song. No song on Nightmare was totally un-listenable for me (even though it was very, very uneven), but every song I've heard on this album so far has been atrocious.

nightmare had a couple of good songs, bu this has none, i would neg the rating but i reserve 1 and 1.5s for truly unlistenable albums, this is just boring

I swear, this is Avenged Sevenfold's St. Anger. It's so flat and doesn't have anything even remotely interesting. Saying "Waking the Fallen" or even "City of Evil" in the same breath as this album's title is just hard to do.
