new song's pretty good. but i kinda miss the style he had on Earl. felt more genuine. even if the rapey murdery stuff was campy as hell, it had such charm.

i think young musicians always sound more "genuine" than their older selves, but you gotta agree that earl did a good job of maturing his style on doris. new track is great; hope there's a few really straight verses on the new one, though, and not just this really distorted stuff, as much as i enjoy it.

the more calculated the writing and delivery is the less passionate or genuine it sounds in my opinion. for all music not just rap.
when it comes to rap give me monotone and dense over shallow with character.
