It has been interesting to follow these guys' evolution from the beginning, I wasn't exactly a big fan of how they went the path of trading off some of their tech and aggression central to their sound on God, the Aftermath, and while redeemer was still a pretty dope time, the ones after seemed to spin their wheels a bit; they struggled to find the sweet spot between softer melodic inclinations and the heaviness of their roots,

but here i think, they have finally perfected that sound and it has paid off a lot. just an anecdote after 1st listen
