And yeah I really should check out that first EP, it's been sitting around on my hard drive gathering dust for ages now.

They've stayed with me about 4 times, and Cody has always been really cordial, but he could have just been cool cause we were housing him. And nah, it's nothing like this, but I could definitely hear his vox over the music.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAcmmyaQmYo if you have time to listen for a few secs, let me know if you could hear his vox. I'm actually about to record this at a studio just so I have a good version for him, though I shortened it just a bit.

Oh you know them personally? That's pretty sweet man, is AJ a cool guy too?
And yeah sure I'll give it a listen.
|
| |
Not like were friends or anything, they've just stayed with me and my roommates a bunch of times, probably cause we always have good drugs and were friendly people. AJ is real cool, but he's usually just fucked up, which is funny. I've had 3 different drummers stay with us, and they've always been the most friendly people.

I listened a bit. Not the type of music I normally jam but it sounds like a cool template, could be a
really interesting mix with AJ's vocals. If it does eventuate, hit me up straight away dude.
And yeah that's cool, I hear a lot of talk about how they're all massive dicks but I don't necessarily
believe it, maybe I just don't want to.

That's pretty great. Guitar somehow reminds me of Six Gallery.

I think so joshie, it's not too different to the Wonder Years - incredibly powerful and emotional vocals even though the instrumentals aren't brilliant. Have you heard their other albums?

Oh well, check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMzpuKoT7wY
Kinda their signature song. If you like that, I'd say check the first album Reach for the Sun.

Listened to it twice now. Somehow all songs sound the same to me, all midtempo stuff. Nothing really stands out so far. Am I the only one who feels like this?

no you're not ^

I really don't like "I'm So Pathetic." It's sounds so childish.

Dont understand while people are ragging on the instrumentation of this album. Listen to the fucking drums in Drowning, the man is a wizard
|

They've never really lacked in that area. Think it might have just been understood. Their strong points for me have always been vocals/drums.

"That's pretty great. Guitar somehow reminds me of Six Gallery" much appreciated man. Hopefully we can get some legit vox soon.

@TooManyFriends It's not necessarily that they're bad at playing instruments, just that they don't often put in the effort to use their talent to create something really good in the instrumental department. At least imo.

Vocalist has some serious talent. Kinda average though. I'll give it a few listens. I reckon this has the potential to grow on me.

I thought the drums on this were pretty great. I can see people's gripes with they rhythm guitar, but there are a few parts in the record where both guitars are playing leads and it sounds great. Also, the lead guitars on here make me feel so cozy. While it's nothing really noteworthy I actually enjoy the subdued instrumentation on this record.
