Anyone else find these to be some of the fastest 13 minute plus songs ever?
And by that I mean whenever this is playing and I glance at the song time expecting to see 5 or 6 minutes the track is almost done. It's just so smooth.

Been playing this over and over recently. The bass work is fantastic. And with drums, I kinda see your point Noctus in that they seem to be "just there" to paraphrase, for the most part, but at the same time, I love the odd mixture of BM blasting and tribal tumbling, I think in a way they serve the exact purpose they were meant to.

I've been disappointed by many! But there are so many more good ones that it hardly matters when I dislike something. The new Vattnet Viskar was below expectations, for ex, but the new Wedrujacy Wiatr came out of nowhere and made everything better. :D

It does deserve more ratings but the attention span of the modern man is diminishing, so if your casual music fan sees that the opening track is over 16 minutes long, that might very well drive him/her away.
Album really is all kinds of good though.
