I think Var would fit on the new Mogwai album par excellence! It sounds a lot like their recent sound. It reminds me a little bit of ( ) but then nothing happens and it is just a bore. Not even an ambient nice-to-have but more a nowhere-going. A kind of wannabe. Not a good closer.

Favorite Sigur Rós for me, I love the dark atmosphere carried through the sound of the entre record. Title track is just frightening, and this whole thing is criminally underrated. No gripes with this, fantastic record.
