Is Sputnik popular in Germany? Haha. Boysetsfire's damn near David Hasselhoff popularity there.

But yeah, I saw Boysetsfire many times back in the day and their shows were intense and people

seriously dug it.

The scene has gotten pretty shitty since then. When I was a kid I was listening to Boysetsfire,

Ringworm, Earth Crisis, Deadguy, Darkest Hour, Converge, etc., but now kids listen to that douche from

Escape the Fate.

Band is amazing.

That's great you reviewed this, atrink. Band doesn't seem to get a ton of attention here. I'd read this, but I am planning on writing it up myself, so I will after I am done with my review.

Outside of The Day The Sun Went Out, I'd say this is their weakest album. Though "weakest" isn't exactly the right word for it. It's still a stunning collection of tracks, I just wish there was a little more variety to it

I still need to check out the stuff they did before Tomorrow Come Today.

The Day The Sun Went Out is considered "weak" around these parts? I consider that one of their finest recordings.

If by "these parts" you mean me, then yes

And like I said, not "weak" per se but more "just not as good as ____"

Yeah definitely. It's still a fucking great release, it just doesn't really hold a candle to the bulk of their catalog is all

I love Tomorrow Come Today. How do you guys view that compared to the rest of their discography?

TCT is right there near the top for me, but my favorite album is Misery Index and a couple older EPs. "Turn the Key" is my shizzle

Cool. I will have to go youtubin and find the rest of their stuff. They don't have much on Spotify and it looks like a lot of their older stuff is out of print now.

I do like his scream better on Tomorrow Come Today compared to this and Misery. It had a lot more power to it.
