This is such a weird vocal style for this type of music.

Young English rockers Press to Meco look to distinguish themselves from the pack on their 5 track 2nd EP 'Affinity'. Clearly influenced by a wide variety of styles, the trio's sound often becomes a little awkward & confused in searching for a unique fusion of genres. The musicianship ranges from hard-hitting near-metal to intricate mathiness, yet the dual vocals rely on harmonies more in common with pop-rock. It's an admirable attempt to be original & could well lead to something intriguing down the track... But these 19 minutes feel as if Press to Meco are a Jack of all trades, but master of none. Recommended Tracks: Honestly, Wasting Time & Affinity.

Cool that our opinions line up so much on this, Davey. Do you agree that Wasting Time is the best track here?

Nope. I personally prefer 'Honestly', but only just.
