I cannot accept that there is an opinion out there that Amnesiac rules and this almost sucks. Hello. What album are you even listening to. So many standout tracks here. 20% of Amnesiac tracks are boring instrumental interludes.
Hmmm...opinions maybe?

Punchup is very good yea, and I listened to some of Backdrifts yesterday and it's actually pretty good too. Both could be about half their length though.
The Gloaming also needs that climbing bass line they have for the live version; thankfully they did for the In Rainbows: Live from the Basement version.

the only thing strange about HTTT is its lack of cohesion, which is unusual for a radiohead album - usually the songs in OKC or Kid A sound better in context to their respective albums, but in this case the transitions are so jarring from alt rock to electronic, they're better off being listened to as individual tracks

Yea but there must be some way to organize these tracks, maybe including some from the Com Lag EP, that makes sense. Even though this is my favorite band, or maybe tied with Floyd, they could be even better if they did some things differently to make their lesser, but still excellent, albums like this, Amnesiac, and TKoL even better.

Yeah, it's kind of a sample card showcasing what they are able to do.
Love Backdrifts a lot. His singing is nice and the song sounds amazing.

Agreed though Talons, I love them so much but they are more of a many 4.5s kind of band.

yea I feel as though some of their albums would benefit if they included their respective b-sides, not only cus of the fact their b-sides are mostly 5/5 but itd also benefit the flow of the albums

Right, the material was there, basically more time should have been spent crafting in post for a cohesive package. I think at the time they wanted something a bit more raw following the Kid A/Amnesiac project.

yea HTTT is their most scatterbrained (pardon the pun) release but it's still top tier. Amnesiac imo is better not only cus of its thick atmosphere and cohesion but it's also got some god-tier radiohead songs (pyramid, lsp, I might be wrong)

Yeah agreed, so many b-sides rule. That's why I made the list.
I don't think adding more would solve flow problems though. Difficult to think of a solution. With AMSP it's definitely track order, TKOL and Rainbows flow very nicely, this doesn't but it doesn't bother me at all, Amnesiac has a few too many weird tracks after each other. Kid A and OKC (and even Pablo) have less flow problems.

Agreed, especially about how A Moon Shaped Pool could've used a different track order. Including Harry Patch, Spectre, and Ill Wind too ideally. The King of Limbs: Live from the Basement including all the b-sides from around that time (around 5 I believe) is at least 9/10 rating for me.

Yeah, their b-sides mostly rule. I like that they release so many of them, gives a nice insight in what they were doing at that moment, what they meant with the albums. Some context. Especially the tracks in between albums (like Harry) showcasing where the next album will go in a way.

"Including Harry Patch"
God, please no.

That's the Radiohead piece I dislike the most. Like, I don't think I've ever heard a worse Radiohead piece.

I evade their B-sides because... Well, they're B-sides. Might as well listen to that one, just probably not today.

They played one of their best b-sides when I saw them live in July which was cool, Talk Show Host from The Bends era.

Omg that song is superb. Top Radiohead actually if you ask me. They've never played it when I saw them, jealous man!
