Basically repeating what Jacob said here, but this is a really impressive review, especially considering you went out of your comfort zone with this one. I only wish I could write like that when I'm out of my comfort zone (and to be honest I'm not that thrilling of a writer even in my comfort zone haha).

Thank you, Magnus, that means a lot. I dont see myself as all that thrilling of a writer either, which is why I was worried how this review would be received. Glad to see it worked out though, despite the various typos I had to fix (I write mostly at night).
I really want to start exploring trip-hop, dub, and hip-hop more in my writing now.

Start with that one ^ then look into pre-millennium tension, angels with dirty faces, and mixed race.

I enjoy it more than Mixed Race, even if Mixed Race seems to show his diverse reach in the genres he can delve into (has before, but not to such a degree that it betters his style). This, in a way, feels like a homage to his Maxinquaye days, I say that tentatively because the asphyxiated and suffocating nature of that album isn't as prevalent on here, but damn are the guest vocalists damn good.

I still haven't ventured past this, though I definitely need to. It's amazing though, and really love the guest vocalists as well.
