not really sure how this sounds like interpol. it doesn't have any of the angular guitar lines,

baritone vocals, stiff punchy post-punkish drumming or focus on intricate bass guitar melodies that

interpol is known for. i like both bands but they don't really sound similar at all except for maybe

their focus on atmosphere (at least on totbl, but even then it was a much different atmosphere than on

this.) i'm guessing this band was influenced a lot more by emo and post-rock bands, especially bands

that mix the two like a bunny's caravan.

It's actually a whole riff of an Interpol song, just developing differently. It's only that part but I have to think of it everytime. Gotta look up which song it was.
