I've seen all 3 of Tesseract's vocalists live - Dan was the best. He basically just uses falsetto for Ashe's high notes. I mean you can't knock a guy for having a lower register, right?

Production will keep me far from giving this a 5 lol

Production is worth a 2.0 knock? Harsh.

No, it's just that the record doesn't really do anything for me, maybe with better production I'd appreciate it more but it feels kinda dull to me

so if they music itself only makes up 3/5 of your rating, with the production is the remaining 2/5. this is a 5 for you. gotcha.

Production isn't that big a part of my rating, this record just doesn't do that much for me

Why is all averages on tesseract's albums so low on here, there is definitely a vendetta against this band or some shit

I loved Polaris, should I check this one or One next?

You may like One better since is the same singer.

Makes sense, haha! Dans vocals are great.

This is one of the best hyper-clean production jobs I've ever heard. Incredibly well-rounded mix. I do wish it were more dynamic but the album sounds very good imo
|
| |
I prefer Ash though, who sings on this one. But Dan is technically a better singer.
And agree Ramon, production is godly.

I fell right in love with this one on release, and it's never wavered. One of the more unique and better-flowing metal albums I've ever listened to. Can't say what specific qualities make it stand out so much. There's such a professionalism and care in every detail. Great stuff. I do miss Ashe but I like Dan a lot.
|
| |
Ash is so much more enjoyable to listen to. Dan wanks around with adlib too much for the band's style imo.
Professionalism isn't a word I'd use to describe too many albums but you're on the money, Nomos.
