Its fun, and dosent feel too long. Although I think thats one of he biggest gripes people have with it.

Yep, I could see this being a mile of a listen if you weren't really digging the sound. This album just has some extremely mind bending polyrhythms, Palingenesis is a good example.

I find this pretty short

Metallica Opeth sent me here gotta so this is some pretty good stuff. Some subtle chords that transition well with heavier moments, switching between mechanical and human provides a nice sense of dichotomy. Crooning and soaring vocals that reflect the atmosphere nicely, like a wisp in the wind of once was civil human discourse. They know how to contain subtlety and manage their textures in a way that Meshuggah could only dream of. 5/5
