I first thought that The Valley was the best song, but now I think it might be Echo.
'Salt' does not get enough credit because it is a relaxed song, but the middle kind of funky part is really great.

'Bilateral' is still their best album.
Not sure if 'Coal' or 'Tall Poppy Syndrome' is the 2nd best album. Probably TPS...

Yeah Salt is great, Einar is really good on that song. TPS would be second for me. Havent heard their debut though

My second favorite. Third is TPS. Their debut is their only one I don't listen to.

@Yazz: Whaaaaa, dude waste of air, MEDIOCRITY WINS, PAINFUL DETOUR, cryptogenic desires! The only song I think is weak is Acquired taste.
@Artuma: Life is merry

it's just very stripped down compared to their last two schizophrenic releases. I agree with you.. only just. He realllllllly does an amazing job singing though, god tier.

This is quite a bit more repetitive than their last two...about 15 minutes of this album is the vocalist going AAAHHHAAAHHHH in some form.
But it mostly rules anyway.

The other albums have more character imo, and some sections get stretched a bit here. Bilateral is a landmark prog release, it's so refreshing compared to most modern prog metal albums, like Riversides ADHD.
His vocals can cause Earthquakes
