My second fav Leprous album behind Bilateral. Cloak and Valley are stellar tracks but why tf is nobody talking about Chronic or Contaminate Me. Those riffs are absolutely beastly. And my God, Insahn's feature is nuts.

Think it might actually be my favourite on this

"but why tf is nobody talking about Chronic or Contaminate Me"
Contaminate Me gets a lot of love. Many people consider it to be their best closer as far as I'm concerned. Even though The Sky is Red is another strong contender.

Shit, just stumbled on it, lol. Chronic. I was off with the description. The guitar section that comes in about halfway through the song is sick.

Chronic is a criminally underrated track

Yea, plenty transitions in that song. And that guitar part comes in at 2:43. It's not complicated, but it melts your face. Such a cool shift.

Dam, forgot how incredible Einar's vocals were on Foe

He slays on Foe. Starting to wonder why I don't bump this. So many jams. I'm stuck in the past with Leprous. This is the kind of shit I love about them.

...And Malina is a kind of amalgamation/maturation of the previous 3 albums. Still remains my favorite. Pitfalls is more of a departure.

You know I couldn't get into Malina like you guys. With every album they just seem to lose more of the spark that I loved about them

Depends on what you liked about them. If you like the staccato, moody music, then I surely see why you wouldn't enjoy their most recent two records less. I think this is my favourite record from them, but not sure. They are pretty different, maybe depends on what mood I'm in. I just love the atmosphere this record has, combined with the pretty diverse compositions
