I don't really like Pattern Against User tbh but every song here is either a hard jam or a HARD FUCKING JAM y'know

I like that one. I can't think of any that I'm not big on. Enfilade and Non-Zero Possibility are my favorites, the latter being the song that got me into the band after a while of feeling lukewarm about them.

There are some problems with the production, yeah, but nothing that ruins this for me.

"Enfilade and Non-Zero Possibility are my favorites"

Add Quarantined in there and you have my top 3

THIS HEX WAS DELIVERED SPENT!

Makes me miss old Sparta. Wish they'd kept going. If I recall, they put a song out a year or two ago, but I didn't dig it at all and I can't get into Sleepercar or whatever.

Quarantined does own. I didn't like Invalid Litter Department for a while, but it grew on me a lot. Also one of my favorites just because it's fucking weird and I like some of the lyrics a lot.

Andy Wallace didn't do the album any favors that's for sure.

Oh, shit! Did he produce this or the remaster? That guy was a god to me at one point lol. He's got his name on a huge lost of good sounding albums.

Well Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot, Glassjaw, Blood Brothers, etc) produced it. Omar and Cedric both said they enjoyed working with him but the record label was pushing the album hard so they went with Andy Wallace to put a "polished" mix on it. Omar has since said he hates the way it was mixed and he released the board mix which was the way it sounded before Andy Wallace mixed it. I don't have the re-release version to A/B it though. I don't even know where to get it.

Damn. That's nuts. I had no idea. Ross Robinson was godly at one point as well.

Yea, I wish I knew where to get alternate board mix version, but I've had no luck trying to find it.
