doesn't sound like swans new album much but lakes showed me one of their older albums and i heard some definite similarities.

and i didnt know this was lakes' release when i said it sounded awful but now im pretty certain of my judgment. not cuz its lakes but I think atari would sooner not write a review before he posted one 3 or lower for a user. so reading this review me thinks he's being generous with his rating.

lol calc i said it was lakes' album in the first comment. Also, you're focusing on the score more than the review itself...i mentioned the negative aspects of the album as well (like production, some songs tending to drag a bit). but in all honesty i think it's a great effort but i'm not overly picky with production.

or, you know, he might actually enjoy it for how it sounds. generous or not, his taste in music is a bit different than yours. with that said, I'm okay with people not liking this because I personally wouldn't like this had I listened to it a year ago, because that was before I listened to any music that sounded anything like.

lol yeah why the ugh lakes? and i'm not gonna say i didn't take into an account that this is a user-made album when i listened to it, but i didn't fabricate my score. was thinking a 3 at first but some songs really grew on me especially shadow song
