Going to check this out, but those lyrics you quoted... ugh they sound like they're stolen from Tumblr.

It's just generic metalcore.

Disappointed with this album, I'd have it just shy of 2.9 if I could. It bleeds average, with decent instrumental work. Anyone agree?

Hmm, the album is surprisingly growing on me. Like, it's still rather generic, but I'm loving the

cleans - and the new approach the singer has to harsh vocals has actually won me over.

Strange Comfort, Learned Behavior and Steadfast are all excellent tracks. Now, it'd be interesting to

see if these guys would actually experiment if they were on a label that doesn't use Generic Sturgis

for every goddamn production.

How is there no comment yet on how much they are trying to sound like Stray From The Path (Silver Lining?). Not that it's bad, but veeeeeery obvious.

Dude, my friend pointed that out the other day. Very astute observation.

The harsh vocals are the only thing that sound like SFTP.

This has grown on me quite a bit. I love the difference in the new harsh vx vs. cleans. In that aspect at least they don't sound like every other core group. Their sense of rhythm is really good and their melodies are catchy. A little refinement could make a really good record. And they need to stop chugging, now.

Had these dudes downloaded forever and just thought they were just some rise band then randomly relistened to We All

Have Demons and it clicked. Jammed the fuck out of both their albums for 4-5 months, all the time. Then they release

this which I cannot get into at all. Fux wit my emotions

I actually decided to give this a shot. After 2 songs the vocals grow but it still has way too many boring parts. The instrumentation is great at points but damn it's still too formulaic. It's not awful though i'd give it a 2.5-3ish

It's much better on a shuffle playlist bolstered by better bands like Deadguy and Drugs of Faith.
