I still can't for the life of me figure out how they created a song as awful as Hazy

Yeah hazy is one of the worse tracks on the album for sure, it feels uncomfortable

Please, go to Listen and Forgive and look for comments bitching about that album. Go to Megadeth's Rust In Peace or Suffocation's Effigy of the Forgotten. 99% bitching free. We're only complaining because Listen and Forgive set the bar too high and this album didn't reach it. But for the record I love the songs Sleep, So Long So Long, Weathered Souls, and Brights Lights Dark Shadows

Yeah sleep is cool. I gotcha it's just all I've heard about this album so far is negative. I want to hear people talking about what they DID like too

Listen and Forgive is a classic, especially the reissue that includes the alt. version of Skipping Stone, I Told You So (which is a remake of I've Never Told That to Anyone), and Forgive Forget Space. One of the easiest 5's ever.

"that's no excuse for them not trying"

This. These guys are clearly able to make much better stuff than this which just seems really really lazy.

And as the guy from absolutepunk said "If this record was written by a new band, I would probably stop listening to that band."

Yeah, the band got pretty angry at that, I read lots of bitchy comments both ways.

Hey, if they can't take criticism, then that's all on them.

I never particularly liked Thomas, but he has every right to say what he did on that review.

If they're not even trying then they must be some of the most talented musicians I've ever heard

C'mon, Atari. How is this not lazy of them? Their choruses are so generic.

"I drove through the front yard

I parked on the bridge

I saw the coastline like I never did

I thought nothing lasts forever

No, nothing lasts forever"

"Hang it up, hang it up when you get home.

Lay it out, lay it out, like a map on the floor and

Tear away the edges, you can throw away your fears"

Ugh.
