I thing the problem here is that most of the songs are down-tempo stuff. I love that. But it can be quite stale after awhile.

But seriously that riff in Shouting at the Rain sounds really coldplay. Almost like something off of a rush of blood to the head.

I'm not trying to be cool or edgy, I'm merely expressing my opinion that they are horribly average (not bad, apart from the odd song)

This album is anything but bad, I don't see how anyone could find this to be a 1.5.

always get naysayers if a band does something universally recognised as brilliant
i believe the latter is called 'a tough act to follow' and the former referred to as 'morons'

It's a 1.5 because it's fucking ridiculously dull, it doesn't need skrillex gangraping fucking autotuned electro squirrels on brokencyde covers or whatever for me to want to saw my head off with a spanner

"when each individual EP is nothing better than a 4."

"You 'bout to get raped, son! White, Indigo and Violet were definitely higher than 4's, with Indigo being an absolute

classic."

I agree. I'm talking about the ratings on here. What are they 4.1 at the most?

Shame, Let Go, This Vicious Place, and Whisper are absolutely wonderful. His voice sounds so perfect on this record.
