Whoa, this review aged like milk. Writing "About as average as BM can get" about an all time black metal classic is pretty funny though.
|
| |
"Black metal has always been a rather infamous genre of music that is not known by most of the world. Those who are fans of it, however, usually regard it as one, if not the best genre of music on the face of the earth."
Jesus...

This is kind of uplifting, which is very rare for BM prior Blackgaze. I may check this band more this winter
|
| |
I listened to Dissection's debut too in terms of similar albums, i liked the vocals better, but this seems more atmospheric
|
| |
Someone review the debut already

I feel like I should like this album more. Musically it's solid but for some reason it just drags hard for me. Vocals are really monotonous too. Definitely prefer dissection and sacramentum

Probably gonna start a meloblack binge in the next week or so. Already got the classics like Dissection and Sacramentum lined up, and will be delving into this and other stuff too.
