PG 4 is called Security because when the record was first released it had a big sticker with “Peter Gabriel Security” stuck on the front. The record label was tired of fighting with Gabriel about releasing so many records without a name, so they gave it one. It doesn’t really have a name as far as Gabriel is concerned. When people unwrapped the records and threw away the plastic all those stickers disappeared, and so did the name. This is what the record looks like with the sticker:

If you like Security, Gabriel made a remixed German language version of the album that is worth checking out.

Yeah the German version is very well done. Really comparable to Security with couple of improved parts here and there.

I really like how the lyrics sound when Gabriel sings them in German.
