I kind of wish that the placement of the ad on the right side was swapped with the ratings bar graph thingy. Apart from that I like the new layout a lot with the album art on top.

great review. one minor thing though your sentence "Sure, the record contains fantastic drumming, solid vocals and guitar work that would make lesser bands jealous" struck me as odd. as a lesser known musician, it doesn't make me jealous when a well-known band does things musically well. it makes me jealous when a band is well-known and i feel they DON'T do things musically well.

nothing impressive about the instrumentation. the drummer is interesting in that he almost never hits a cymbal but hes not nearly as noticeable on this album as he was with gorilla
