Didn't sound to unique to me. It had heavy and catchy parts that I did enjoy, but the songs started sounding a bit formulaic to me. It was very bland to me for the most part and didn't do much to make each track stand out.
This is, of course, just how I personally feel. I gave this a 3.5, so there are definitely still some good moments. I think part of the problem was I went in with huge expectations given how hyped up it was, and it didn't come close.

Whether that's "right" or "wrong" I don't know. I've got wonky opinions on music as I have seen. This is just how I feel.

It's only really hyped by me haha. No right or wrong way to enjoy music dude, like what you like.
I dig how dense this is, and the melodic parts along with the lyrics and the German accent kind of add an interesting mystique. I love getting sucked into a huge album like this and the repetition doesn't bother me, really dig the rhythms and time changes I think there's enough going on here to make it it's own beast.
I'm also very biased because its been one of my favorite metalcore albums for ten years.

It's pretty good, one of the things I kind of dislike is how the songs tend to blend. Difficult to tell where songs stop and start in places.
The heaviness and riffs are good. I like how the vocals are sunken into the mix and they are more like another instrument. Could use a bit more dynamics between songs but it's an enjoyable record.

New songs are really good, they've done away with the constant chugging riffs and went for a more traditional mathcore style but they still carry over a lot of previous elements. Album should rule.
