still don't quite get this one. good album but how can you hold this up to their classic stuff and say it's just as good?

it's not. it sounded nice live because it all has a very intimate feel--they did a set of acoustic stuff and a lot of it was this--but i think just the songwriting isn't as good. i love "ohm" for instance but it's still not one of their best songs, just has a nice rhythm and energy. "stupid things" ditto but worse; it's driving but i mean there's only so much you can do, imo, with that one-note bass pattern. most of the rest is muted but nice.

From what I heard it's more stripped-down versions of their older songs and some obscure covers. They always do great covers! Gonna check it out most definitely.

This is maybe the most inoffensive album I own. P good homework music.

Upon relistening there really are no bad songs to be found here. It’s probably one of their most focused and consistent outputs. Favourites: Ohm, Is That Enough, I’ll be Around, Cornelia and Jane, The Point of It. The closer is great too. Rating bumped!

Just checked this one for the first time and honestly think I might like it better than the new one. It’s really lovely and colorful.

Interesting... I honestly think this might be my least favorite of their late era. Don't get me wrong, still an enjoyable album though (as my rating suggests).

Call me crazy but this might legitimately be my favorite YLT album.
