"It is still better than Kendrick LP...This is definitely mainstream hip-hop LP of the year because Big Boi released shittttty record and Kendrick sucks"
This album is 2013, those other two albums are 2012. Also, who knows what's to come this year. Billy Woods last year came sneaking and struck hard.

Yeah you're right ... This LP was leaked so early so I accidentaly put it into 2012 list.

Yeah Billy Woods is great but I was talking about mainstream hip hop in last comment and Billy Woods has nothing to do with that "genre"

Oh yeah, disregard that. But yeah, this LP is 2013 and we'll see what it'll have in store. Pretty sure I read something about Wu-Tang - who knows if this might be more consistent than their output over the last decade.

livelove is still better in my opinion. I swear I listened to at least one song of that album every day of 2012.

But yeah this is great, and i dont get how any of you can like 'wild for the night', the chorus is just so obnoxious

More lame mainstream hip hop for the collection, this album is shit and the people that praises this pile of poop belongs to a suicide cult or perhaps are just fans of the hip hop reviews made by cunts in pitchfork. Now excuse me, I'm going to listen madvillain, nas, mos def and atmosphere.

whoa, look at how edgy he is. and angry. dayum.

Almost makes me want to give this a 3.5 or 4 just to see what happens.

I heard the ASAP Mob mixtape was abysmal. Only song I've heard off of this was Goldie and I liked it but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Will check this out soon.

"oh and my wife likes asap mob

so this is garbage that i am intimately familiar with"
Even some of his fans admit that that mixtape was awful. And yeah, he's a mediocre lyricist. The beats on this are nice though.

But yeah, can't stand this guy through a whole album. I'd probably like him more as somebody doing guest stuff.

Never had any issues with ASAP Rocky, surprisingly. Though his inflections can at times be, peculiar(?), he has a great tone, and his vocals have a tendency to naturally-flow over any beat. Listening to some of his instrumentals, I'm baffled by how easily he spits over them.

"1 Train" is just great though. Probably the greatest I've ever heard, Danny Brown. I was happy to discover Yelawolf was on the track, and Kendrick Lamar & Big K.R.I.T. killed it (in a positive way).

Idk man, I can definitely get on some tracks but I just can't sit through the whole thing without being bored, annoyed or anything of the like. Quite frankly I don't know exactly what it is, I mean I listen to other stuff that's lyrically completely ridiculous/mediocre (Tech N9ne for example) and that doesn't happen. And it's not like the beats are shitty here either.

But I agree, 1 Train is definitely a great track. Probably thing on here with those features. It still bugs the shit out of me that Yelawolf killed almost every guest verse I heard him on but fucked up his LP.
