I find "Freak Like Me" a weak track. Nothing here is very original, but that song screams radio single but not in the best way (cheesy lyrics, horrible guitar solo, been-there-done-that-tempo, may I say more?). With that aside, the album is a step above their debut, especially with the rocker chick attitude and drumming.

"holy shit why is she so hot"
Every now and then a girl comes along that can wail and is in a rock band. It's Newton's 4th law of physics.
And it's the best one.
Alyssa White is still hotter. But Lzzy could still get it, most definitely.

"Alyssa White is still hotter."
I respectfully disagree but they're both top-shelf.

This was my first album I heard by Halestorm. I loved the aggressive approach I found in this album. "Love bites ( So Do I)", "Mz. Hyde", "I Miss the Misery" takes this album to the next level. Then you have "In Your Room", a softer side of Halestorm that I think really balances the album. Overall, really great album.

First time jamming this in two years as well. Their debut is better, but this is good too. m/

Gotta revisit their more recent works. Spun the third one once and wasn't impressed.
