"honestly i don't get the hate for this. for a comeback album its pretty solid. and why does everyone hate the dicks on the wall song? its catchy and the lyrics are tongue and cheek no?"



pretty sure these guys are in their 40s. the time to grow up from dick jokes is in the early 20s at most.

I disagree almost entirely. I think this record is a really strong comeback for BFF. It's one of their punchiest records ever and has a litany of excellent songs. I found Sky High to be ephemeral and beautiful, Draw A Crowd is infectiously fun and funny, Away When You Were Here is moving, Michael Praytor Four Years Later is one of their best ever songs with impeccable vocal harmony, and the title track has a lyrical mood that I've never heard the Five nail quite as succinctly as they do here. Excellent record IMO.
