Shit finally listened to this. Reminds me of a slightly poppier (and longer lol) Joyce Manor. Loved it, and I'm pretty sure the 3.5 will bump up to 4 (or higher) after a few more spins. Feeling something like a 3.7 after first listen.

Honestly the run of the first four tracks (Ya'll Boots Hats? --> Anniversary Song) is 5/5. And the transition from Hot & Informed into Anniversary Song is absolute sex.
Loses a little something for me in the middle. I *like* the tracks, especially My Black Dog and Broken Cigarettes, but (and bear with me here) it's like the first four tracks are SO good that the rest of the album, despite being great, somehow feels inferior.
Ending with Me + Geniene is perfect, though.
I can definitely see this getting bumped up eventually as the second half of the album grows on me more and more. Half the time, though, I finish Anniversary Song and restart from the beginning at least once ;o)
